I’m a 47 year old man who suffered from a couple of blood clots in my lungs in 2011. I was 20 stone at the time, so it’s not that surprising. I began this blog as a form of therapy, and to chart my recovery. Three years on, I now find it way to embarrassing to read those early posts. Also lurking in my medical history is a weird and rare case of transverse myelinitis – I have no myelin protection at the base of my spine. So I’m getting my excuses in early.
Lolfa published my book, ‘Red Dragons : The Story of Welsh Football” in October 2012. I write a Welsh language sports column in Golwg magazine, and “Ar Dy Feic” – my new book on cycling will be published, in Welsh, in February 2015. The idea is that material from this blog will form the core of an English language cycling book to be published in 2016.
